As with many classic love stories, ours began at a now closed karaoke dive bar in Chinatown in 2014. Meeting through mutual friends, we were instantly drawn to one another. It was probably Justin's rendition of “Back At One” by Brian McKnight. Sure, let’s go with that. But as magical as that Miller High Life-fueled evening was, it would be several years before our relationship would begin. In 2018, after years of friendly flirting at agency happy hours, we finally decided to go for it. In February 2020 (lol), we moved in together, and since then, we’ve built a beautiful life together in our beloved Brooklyn – complete with a twenty seven pound wrecking ball of a pitbull / chihuahua mix. And as the old saying goes, if your love can survive a global pandemic during which you’re forced to spend every waking moment together in a 450 square foot apartment, it can survive anything.
